Benoni Farmers' Supply are the sole importers and distributors of the Sfoggia range of pneumatic precision fine vegetable seed planters as well as seedling planters.

These machines are suitable for all types of vegetable seed, ranging from as fine as carrot seed going up to as coarse as small bean type farming.

These machines are very precise in their planting ability which in today’s rising costs of fuel, price seed and labour, it is imperative that one has the accuracy in planting that is required.

A high speed air fan housed in an aluminum alloy body, provides suction for the seed pick up and a forced air supply for cleaning the holes in the seeding disk.

Seeding distances are changed by means of the gear box, which is situated in the wheel arm frame, giving up to 60 distances from 1cm to 30cm.

The seeding depth is from 0.2cm to 6cm. the minimum distances between the rows is 18cm.

The seed drill can be fitted onto 4 types of wheels, namely concave cast wheels, flat grilled wheel, stainless steel flat wheels and farm flex rubber wheels. The pressing wheels can be either stainless steel or soft rubber.

The two seed selectors which act on the seed disk with micrometric movement, ensure the selection of all the seeds. The delta seed drill is equipped with 2 gauges, one is used for reading air pressure used for cleaning holes on the seed disk and the other is used for the vacuum reading for the seed pick-up.
